            Bug ID: 25780
Summary: [META] Using Clang as the FreeBSD/ppc system compiler
           Product: new-bugs
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: FreeBSD
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P
         Component: new bugs
          Assignee: unassignedbugs at nondot.org
          Reporter: emaste at freebsd.org
                CC: llvm-bugs at lists.llvm.org
    Classification: Unclassified

FreeBSD supports 32- and 64-bit x86, arm, mips, and powerpc, as well as
sparc64. We intend to use Clang as the system compiler across supported
architectures. Currently (32- and 64-bit) arm and x86 use Clang while the other
architectures use an old version of GCC.

This bug will depend on those issues that prevent us from enabling Clang as the
FreeBSD/ppc system compiler.
