Ubuntu 12.04 is still quite widely used because it is the most recent long term
support release.  It would be nice if LLVM built out of the box on this
platform.  However as I think LLVM now requires gcc-4.7 to build, and ubuntu
12.04 only ships with gcc-4.6, I guess that just isn't going to happen, so I
reckon this bug can be closed.
