            Bug ID: 17760
Summary: Re-introduce Shrink-Wrap for ARM if beneficial
           Product: libraries
           Version: trunk
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P
         Component: Common Code Generator Code
          Assignee: unassignedbugs at nondot.org
          Reporter: renato.golin at linaro.org
                CC: llvmbugs at cs.uiuc.edu
    Classification: Unclassified

Shrink-Wrap was "experimental at best", so it was removed in:

http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?view=revision&revision=193749

Similar work has been done in GCC based on benchmark results, but I have no
information on why or how better things got. Investigate and either mark it as
"won't fix", or re-implement with decent test coverage.
