Bug #: 11712
Summary: value-initialization not performed on variable
initialized by empty argument pack expansion
Product: clang
Version: trunk
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P
Component: C++0x
AssignedTo: unassignedclangbugs at nondot.org
ReportedBy: richard-llvm at metafoo.co.uk
CC: dgregor at apple.com, llvmbugs at cs.uiuc.edu
Classification: Unclassified
clang incorrectly performs default-initialization, not value-initialization, on
a variable initialized with an empty expression-list:
template<typename T, typename ...U>
T build(U ...u) {
T val(u...);
return val;
}
int n = build<int>(); // uninitialized, should be 0
