I can't reproduce this with either llvm-gcc or clang++ from either the 2.8 or
2.9 release. Neither of them is generating the redundant metadata as far as I
can tell, nor does the testcase DIE assert on either lcc. I'll close this for
now and reopen it again if I run into the problem in the future.
