Summary: Comparison with GCC: GPL statement is misleading
Product: Documentation
Version: trunk
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows 2000
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P
Component: General docs
AssignedTo: unassignedbugs at nondot.org
ReportedBy: dontbugme at mailinator.com
CC: llvmbugs at cs.uiuc.edu
http://clang.llvm.org/comparison.html
"GCC is licensed under the GPL license. clang uses a BSD license, which allows
it to be used by projects that do not themselves want to be GPL."
It should be clear that this applies only to compiler derivatives and not ones
that use GCC to compile their code.
