Summary: Problem with autoconf's mmap check
           Product: clang
           Version: trunk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P
         Component: -New Bugs
        AssignedTo: unassignedclangbugs at nondot.org
        ReportedBy: ismail at namtrac.org
                CC: llvmbugs at cs.uiuc.edu

mmap.c contains the default MMAP check from autoconf

[/kutu/stuff]> clang -O1 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 mmap.c
[/kutu/stuff]> ./a.out
[... hangs ... ]

[/kutu/stuff]> gcc -O1 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 mmap.c
[/kutu/stuff]> ./a.out

This only happens when -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 is specified, according to gdb
program hangs in line 223:

if (read (fd, data3, pagesize) != pagesize)

Due to this problem lots of configure scripts just hang when compiling programs
with clang.
