           Summary: clang should not accept calling protected members of
                    superclasses on the superclass's type
           Product: clang
           Version: trunk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P
         Component: C++
        AssignedTo: unassignedclangbugs at nondot.org
        ReportedBy: nicolasweber at gmx.de
                CC: llvmbugs at cs.uiuc.edu, dgregor at apple.com

gcc rejects this, clang should too:

class A {
 protected:
  A(int a) {}
};
class B : public A {
  void f() {
    A a(32);
  }
};
