Consider the bytecode attached. Running llc yields:

$ ./llc bugpoint-reduced-simplified1.bc 
LLVM ERROR: Cannot yet select: 0x171c420: ch = ValueType:i8 [ID=9]

This might be a fallout from isel changes.
