Okay, that's fine. We have lots of experimental stuff in LLVM all the
time. We are just careful that it doesn't get into "mainstream" use, as
I did by not making llvm-config directory build by default.

perl --version: This is perl, v5.8.5 built for i386-linux-thread-multi
llvm-config is attached.
