[LLVMbugs] Java project configure error

I get this error when running configure, and I see two problems: (1)
The error message isn't very useful (what's a flat installation of
the GNU classpath?) and (2) I don't think configure should fail if a
project fails to configure correctly:

configure: configuring in projects/llvm-java
configure: running /bin/ksh '/home/vadve/vadve/llvm/projects/llvm-
java/configure' --prefix=/localhome/vadve/llvm '--prefix=/localhome/
vadve/llvm' '--with-llvmgccdir=/home/vadve/lattner/local/sparc/llvm-
gcc' --cache-file=/dev/null --srcdir=/home/vadve/vadve/llvm/projects/
checking for java... java
checking for javac... javac
checking for javah... javah
checking for GNU classpath libraries... no
configure: error: A flat installation of GNU classpath is required
configure: error: /bin/ksh '/home/vadve/vadve/llvm/projects/llvm-java/
configure' failed for projects/llvm-java
