Dear Henrik,

Thanks for the config.log file.  Unfortunetly, I haven't found anything 
in it that would indicate why config.h isn't being created correctly.

I've recently checked in new changes to the configure script in CVS that 
make our configure script use newer configure standards.  I'm hoping 
that maybe it will fix the problems you are seeing.

Please update the configure script from CVS and try to re-configure (I 
recommend that you save your hand-modified config.h file first).

If it still doesn't work, please send me a copy of the config.status 
script so that I can continue looking into the problem.
