[lldb-dev] GDB style annotations

Hi,

Does lldb support the "GDB concept of annotations" to enable graphical 
user interfaces to interact it?

I am currently investigating if there are mechanisms in which a GUI can 
harness the functionality of lldb without using the C++ API.
