I assume maintaining distinct Modules/TypeSystemClangs per-target is not feasible/too big of a change?
Are there interleavings of the TypeSystemClang APIs, when called from different thtreads, that could cause an inconsistent ASTContext to be constructed?
Also, are there any potential deadlock concerns with the Modules infrastructure? I think module serialization/deserialization is done on new threads, and they might call into TypeSystemClang. Haven't really though this through, just some food for thought
