I found a problem after rebasing this patch on main. It added a ternary conditional operator, which has precedence over the assignment. The problem is how to both keep the conditional operator on top level and disallow the assignments when other nodes use the conditional operator as an operand. I basically had to define two conditional nodes in the grammar, once at top level before the assignment, and once under the pure expressions node, so that it wouldn't be restricted just to top level, like the assignment. Take a look at the last commit aec018e, hopefully it makes sense.
