Thanks, makes sense. I kept them as separate commits, but I agree that separate PRs would make the review cleaner.

I'll keep this PR focused on the DW_OP_convert base-type DIE validation issue, and move the DW_AT_bit_size precedence fix into a separate follow-up PR.
