Actually, the CI failure appears to be relevant. The error path in the test is `errno->std::error_code->Status->Expected` and the code in `CheckIPSupport` expects to get a `llvm::ECError`.
It looks like it gets a different type now, and I think that's probably fine, but we should also relax the expectation there.
