Note that llvm-project exclusively uses "squash and merge". This means that only the things that should end up as one single commit after review/merge should be part of one PR - for a series of patches, each of them needs to be submitted as a separate PR.

For patches that do depend on each other, this requires either holding off of submitting the later ones until the former ones are merged, or using workflows like stacked PRs. (Personally I don't mind a workflow where the later PRs simply contain the commits of the former PRs, and just are rebased after earlier ones have been merged - but this is against LLVM policy, unfortunately. According to LLVM policy, updates during review should also be made as incremental commits on top of the branch, not amending/rebasing the existing commit. I don't mind amends/rebases myself though.)

Also as it uses "squash and merge", the final commit message on merge ends up being that of the PR description, not the individual commit message(s) - so avoid including discussion-style parts that aren't meant for the final commit message.

For an RFC style PR for just showing off the branch and series of commits, one PR with multiple commits is fine though - but for actual review for potential merge, they need to be split up into individual PRs.
