Thanks.  Thinking about this yesterday, I'd love to see an RFC (I can do it if it doesn't fit in your plans) to make off_t 64-bit by default for us.  I'm pretty certain every ARM32 and RISC-V32 would both support it, the same way they do with 64-bit time_t, and then posix_fadvise is just an alias to this.
