I'm OK with adding `<paths.h>` but `<values.h>` seems to be a really old and particularly obsolete header - including both its constants (like `BITSPERBYTE`) and transitive includes of float.h and limits.h. Unless we see a really widespread usage of this in the client code, I'd try to abstain from adding it.
