It looks like @SchrodingerZhu put some patches on top (they should link to this PR in their commit messages), but the bots seem to be timing out occasionally.  If this patch is problematic, it should get backed out. Most of us are on holiday this week for Thanksgiving in the US; will investigate this more next week.
