Thanks, LGTM as a short term solution. Long term we should not need that.

fir.shape already has a codegen, the same should be added to fir.shift and fir.shape_shift (and maybe we should get rid of fir.shape_shift).

fir.slice should be retired like fir.field in favor of a representation that is directly on the addressing/emboxing operation since it has no cheap codegen.
