Makes some sense to me. What is the expectations when the specification expressions are non trivial (i.e. function calls)?

For instance in:

```
subroutine sub(a, n, m)
interface
  pure integer function func(n, m)
    integer, value :: n, m
  end function
end interface
integer :: n, m
integer :: a(func(n,m))
n = 10
call bar(size(a, dim=1))
end subroutine
```

Does this mean that breaking on `sub` will "jump" `func` call in the specification expression?

At least both ifx/classic flang seem to place the prologue_end before func call in that case.

I totally understand the arguments that it is weird to not be able to query the variable info at the breakpoint on the function. But I find it questionable skip the specification expressions which may be non trivial user code that a user would want to step into.
That being said, users doing that can probably also use code address instead.
