This PR was actually merged as 8f53182d7ea3e5978b10024cd2a4e315a456b9d4 : I had trouble merging it from github UI for some reason, so resorted to command line git operations. Still, the UI is not caught up with the fact that PR was merged, so PR stays open. I'm going to manually close it now.
