Hi @tmjbios - I'm not sure I understand the implications of your question, but I'm pretty sure this PR is the wrong place to debate project road map. The point of this PR is simply to document the current state of the implementation, where PRIF is _currently_ the sole (experimental) implementation of multi-image features (see PRs linked in the PR description). This document should of course continue to evolve along with the implementation to reflect any future changes.
