@KrxGu Thanks for the PR. Could you please once check the behaviour of gfortran and other compilers once? Perhaps clang too? 

I did a quick test and they seem to be accepting arrays in linear clause. I need to see further, but quickly wanted to check with you if you have already done a comparison. Thanks!
