Sony has a downstream hack to preserve typedef names for debug-info purposes, but it sounds like this project would also help diagnostics. I'd give people another day to answer (as this past weekend was a holiday in both US and UK) but in general, go for it.
Thanks,

Hi,
Is anyone currently working on "Extend clang AST to provide information for the type as written in template instantiations"?
If not, I would like to take on this project.
Thanks,
Marcus
