I will try to do this once I make some time. I attempted to humorously 
point out that I have always found profilers mostly irritants. I was 
able to download a few, including Intel VTune, so if I can figure out 
how any of them actually work and then also come up with a way to test 
which will show any difference between my build from source and the 
snapshot binary, I will report the results back here in this thread. 
Don't expect it anytime soon, as I have lots of other programming things 
I like to do instead and figuring yet-another-difficult-to-use-profiler 
is not high on my list.
