Clang is not afraid to stray from tradition if the decision is toward
something better.  This makes fork maintenance a nightmare, but leads to a
better product in the long-run.

I think the same is true of its build system.  I'd like to see autoconf go the
way of the dinosaurs.  It may be more painful at first, but I think it's worth
it in the end.  Go CMake.
