Hi David,

The code belongs to the South Korean government, so there isn't much
we can use from there. Also, Jin-Gu examined some, not all,
target-independent bit code issues. His implementation was to
considerably change how types are represented in IR, which to some, is
too intrusive.

Nevertheless, it's a good start and serves well as food for thought.
