Yes, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is a supported distro on the ELFv2 ABI (it's gcc 4.8,
but with the ELFv2 ABI patches backported), and there's a build of Debian
supported via the OpenPower group.  A couple of other supported distros are
about to be released.
