  Following discussion on IRC, it looks like this is headed in the right direction (although you might get some periodic grumbling from me until some semblance of proper documentation manifests itself ;).

  Just clean up the little things I mentioned + change "continuation" to "logical line" (it really is extraordinarily confusing terminology) and this LGTM.
