Me neither; I looked it up when I found the tests weren't working :)
Oh, and looking again, it is in the OS X version of the man page,
although it wasn't in any of the other places I looked.

It actually does end up mattering because make somehow picks up some
targets that it shouldn't.  That said, I put in a different way of
filtering it which solves that issue.

Oh, so that's what it's supposed to do... makes sense.  Probably
better to stick to POSIX, though, so we don't run into issues with
some other UNIX.
