initial patches will focus on C support for AIX. In particular, we will be

<p style="line-height:normal;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;margin-left:0in;text-indent:0in;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed;word-break:normal"><span style="font-size:14pt;font-family:Arial;color:black"> 2. Emitting assembly compatible with the AIX
system assembler. </span></p>
