            <p>I tried my old patch for InstCombiner for shuffles, which
              was a handling for <a

                moz-do-not-send="true">https://bugs.llvm.org//show_bug.cgi?id=30630</a>.
              When I applied it a month ago, it produced nearly no
              change. But now I do see some files that needs this
              optimization, and I suspect it has to do with this revert.

            <p>I wonder what the status is on getting this reverted
              patch recommitted? Should I post my patch for InstCombiner
              on Phabricator?</p>
