I figured out my problem. I solved it using:<BR>

cmake -DPYTHON_EXECUTABLE=/usr/bin/python2<BR>
<BR>
So, it wasn't related to cross-compiling at all.<BR>

For anyone who encounters a problem with similar characteristics, the solution could be the same.<BR>
