<p class="MsoPlainText">We are currently looking for a software engineer as part of the core team developing OpenCL, a new open standard for heterogonous general purpose programming, compilers for multi-core CPU and many-core graphics systems.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">The engineer will be involved in all aspects of OpenCL compiler features, using LLVM, development and maintenance and will participate in performance tuning for new multi-core x86 and graphics hardware running on multiple operating systems.
The position will involve interfacing with ASIC design engineers and architects, OS engineers and peers in related development teams.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Knowledge of OpenCL API or other GPGPU programming models is a plus but not needed. The individual will be a member of a team where communication and team skills are highly valued.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent field is required, MSc. Or Ph.D. preferred.

<p class="MsoPlainText">Specialization in computer science, strong C and C++ programming skills is necessary, along with an understanding of software engineering practices.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Exposure to algorithms used for optimizations and code generation for CPU or graphics hardware is a strong plus but not a must, as the primary sought quality is a strong interest and ability in developing high quality software on top

<p class="MsoPlainText">Experience with LLVM, software development tools such as source level debugging and code profiler is required.<o:p></o:p></p>
