Dear LLVM community,

You may be happy to learn of 1 fully funded PhD scholarship (3y)

Handy abstract follows.

The goal is to develop new analyses and transformations to tackle the
approximate computing challenges involved in precision tuning.
New contributions should merge into an existing open source project.
Possibility to contribute to upstream LLVM code base will be evaluated
case by case, based on relevance and impact on the LLVM community.

Position is based in Milan, Italy.
Application closing date: 31 January 2021.
Expected start date: June 2021.

This is part of a wider international collaboration program funded by
the European Union: APROPOS training network on approximate computing.
The international component of the collaboration is enforced by additional rules.
Candidate must not have been continuously studying or working in the host
country (Italy) during their last 4 years. Other requirements and restrictions apply.

Please visit the APROPOS training network website [1] for additional details.
Among the list of other funded positions, only reference ESR 8 is related to LLVM.

Any additional question on the technical aspect of the project can be directed to me.
Any additional question on the process can be directed to prof. Agosta.

Happy coding & Happy holidays

Stefano Cherubin
