[LLVMdev] Test Suite not picking up LINK_ENVIRONMENT_OVERRIDES when used with LNT

Hi All,

The documents for llvm[1] suggests using LINK_ENVIRONMENT_OVERRIDES to get
the link time parameters compiled. What I wanted done was to run the
Mibench benchmark but wanted the "-static" option added while linking so as
to get the static executable.

Running with the exported variable(LINK_ENVIRONMENT_OVERRIDES) did not help
me to get this done.

Finally had to change the file Makefile.multisrc to add -static to the
LDFLAGS to get this done. (diff attached)

is there a way to get this done without changing the source of the
testsuite and adding it in environment variables?

Thanks,
George

PS : Usage of EXECUTION_ENVIRONMENT_OVERRIDES worked fine.
