FWIW, I completely agree here.

I don't know the first thing about Heroku, LNT's innards, and only know a
tiny bit about web apps. I think that whatever path gets things off servers
is a huge, slam-dunk-size win. If having funded servers helps, I'm happy to
help with GCE stuff. If its easier to rig up on something else and we can
get funding for that, cool, let's do that. Literally anything is better
than running physical servers.
