[LLVMdev] alignment types

Hi
   I see the alignment type STACK. Can someone tell me what is the
purpose of it ? Can it be used to drive the alignment of stack objects
?

Is the target sting something like  s:16:16 saying I need alignment at
2 byte boundary ?
