[Brief internship announcement]

Apple's Clang team has an open position for a 12 week developer internship in summer 2011 (~May-June through ~August-September). This team works both on the Clang frontend as well as various Clang-based technologies such as the Clang compiler and the Clang static analyzer.

During the internship, the intern will work directly with members of Apple's compiler team as well as the LLVM open source community to help develop Clang and future Apple products by actively coding and helping to set the directions for future Clang development. Candidates should have relatively strong C++ skills, with existing knowledge of Clang/LLVM a major plus.

The internship will be onsite in at Apple's campus in Cupertino, California. Applicants from outside the U.S.A. are welcome to apply as well. If you are interested in applying, please email me a brief statement of interest (i.e., why you are interested in the internship) and attach your resume/CV in PDF or raw text form (no MS Word documents please).
