[llvm] r332610 - In thin and full LTO + CFI, direct function calls may go through jump table

Dmitry Mikulin via llvm-commits llvm-commits at lists.llvm.org

Author: dmikulin
Date: Thu May 17 07:29:07 2018
New Revision: 332610

URL: http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?rev=332610&view=rev
Log:
In thin and full LTO + CFI, direct function calls may go through jump table
entries to reach the target. Since these calls don't require type checks,
we can short-circuit them to their real targets.
