For completeness, this is the bugpoint invocation:
$ ./bugpoint -opt-command=./opt -compile-custom -compile-command=./run.sh red.ll

where run.sh is:
#!/bin/sh

/home/davide/work/llvm/build-release/bin/opt -S $1 -newgvn 2>&1 | grep
"PHI node entries do not match predecessors"
[[ $? == 0 ]] && exit 1
exit 0

and red.ll is attached.
