Sorry, just to be a bit more precise, it should be something like:

"Note: From the next release (5.0) onwards, the ARMv8 target "vulcan"
will be called "thunderx2t99" and so will all command line options and
CPU names that used to refer to "vulcan". This release (4.0) will be
the last one where the name "vulcan" will be used."

Or whatever that is more concise and as explanatory.
