I see llvm-commits as one of the subscribers, not sure why the post has not
reached the list.

There is a history of this change here, some questions have been already
asked and answered, I suggest we continue to use it for that sake.

I can resend the summary of the latest patch to the llvm-commit list, if
that would help.
