Hi Jack - thanks for the update.  I totally missed your commit messages.  I'll be sure to check it all out as soon as possible.  No worries about the final polish - for now if it builds & runs at all I'll be happy.  GCC is still generating empirically better performing code, so we'll be shipping with those builds for a while.  I'm just trying to keep my finger on the pulse of MIPS/llvm/clang so that we can hopefully switch over someday!

Thanks for all the work on this stuff, guys!
