I get a lot of duplicated symbol errors in a --enable-shared build:

ld: duplicate symbol llvm::MipsGenRegisterInfo::composeSubRegIndices(unsigned int, unsigned int) const in llvm/Debug+Asserts/lib/libLLVMMipsDisassembler.a(MipsDisassembler.o) and llvm/Debug+Asserts/lib/libLLVMMipsCodeGen.a(MipsRegisterInfo.o) for architecture x86_64

Can't you access register classes via MCRegisterInfo?
