Danil,

  With msys tools, your patch works fine functionally.
(I guess it would not be needed with gnuwin32 tools)

Checked on combination of {msys | gnuwin32 | msvs10} / {autoconf | cmake}.

  I am still suspicious we could quote arguments so easily,
and investigating on. I prefer minimal essential quoting.

I will wait for 2nd opinion. If no one objects, I will commit it.
