it is autogenerated by gcc (which is GPLv3), and unsurprisingly
the gcc developers decided it should be GPLv3 too.  This doesn't
matter since the plugin is also GPLv3: it is licensed as GPLv2
or later, and makes use of and links with gcc which is GPLv3.  I'm
pretty sure this makes the plugin GPLv3.
